Hi, I'm Gaurav, your instructor for the professional body piercing training. With eight years of experience in body piercing and tattooing, I've refined my skills across many piercing types for both men and women. As a self-taught artist, I've had the privilege of working as a guest artist in studios across India. Throughout my career I've put professionalism and hygiene first, to keep both the client and the piercer safe. For me, body piercing is an art form — and high standards of hygiene and professionalism are non-negotiable.

The course is built to give you complete knowledge and real practical skill. Over four days, this hands-on piercing course in Delhi teaches you everything you need to start piercing safely — from the basics and an introduction to ear, nose, navel and oral piercings, to the different methods, the tools used, and how to choose the right jewellery for each. The four-day program runs from 1 PM to 7 PM each day.
We start with the fundamentals of body piercing and an introduction to the main types — ear, nose, navel and oral. You'll learn about the different piercing methods that exist, including older approaches like gun and wire piercing, and exactly why we teach and recommend the professional needle technique instead — it's cleaner, more precise and far gentler on the tissue. From there we cover the tools specific to each piercing, including the various forceps used for ear, navel and septum piercings, the different needle gauges, and how to select the right jewellery.
Needle-only, the professional standard: we explain how guns and other methods work so you understand the full picture, but you'll train exclusively in the needle technique — the safer, more hygienic method used by professional piercers. It causes less trauma, heals more cleanly and suits every placement, which is exactly why it's the only method we use and the one you'll master here.
Day two is about the correct piercing points for each placement. Whether it's a navel or any other area, knowing exactly where to pierce matters — and so does proper marking, which sets the entry and exit points. You'll learn to handle needles safely and avoid injury, especially around used needles.
With a solid grasp of tools, jewellery and needles, it's time to put theory into practice. We provide graph-based artificial skin to simulate the real process, with pre-defined entry and exit points so you can refine your technique, build confidence and clear any doubts.
Day three opens with marketing your piercing business effectively across social platforms, then moves to customer consultation — an essential part of being a professional. You'll gain the confidence to handle questions and, with experience, more complex ones. We'll cover the proper setup of a piercing station too, including workstation placement and comfortable seating for the client.
Hygiene protocols are central to this day: keeping the workstation clean before and after every session, avoiding contact with personal items like phones, and the correct handling and disposal of used needles and bio-waste. The day ends with an open group discussion to answer your questions.
Day four is the most exciting one. You'll do a live practical session piercing real models, perfecting your tool handling, marking and a clean, comfortable procedure. Depending on the piercing and jewellery, you'll learn the correct way to insert it from different directions. You can practise ear, nose, septum and navel piercing, and reinforce everything from the course — setting up the station, and the safe handling and disposal of used needles. We finish with aftercare guidance, a final Q&A and certificate distribution.
